Nutritious magnums

Family friendly, quick, easy, nutritious, tried and tested.


1/2 cup cashews (unsalted)

3 tbsp cacao powder

1 large banana

Coconut milk tin (spoon out only the thick part on top and 2tbsp of the water part)

Dates x 8 (remove the stones)

150g bar dark chocolate (This is to dip the ice creams in. You can use vegan if you wish. There will be quite a bit left over)

2 tbsp coconut oil


Makes about 6 ice pops depending on the casing you use



  1. Blend all the ingredients in a blended and add more coconut water if needed to form a smooth mixture

  2. Place into ice cream cases like this one here

  3. Allow to freeze for at least 4-5 hours

  4. Heat the bar of chocolate with the coconut oil

  5. Dip the ice creams quickly and completely coat in the melted chocolate mix

  6. Place onto greaseproof paper and freeze again for at least 20 minutes until the coating is hard

  7. Enjoy!
