Miso baked tempeh

Family friendly, quick, easy, nutritious, tried and tested.


Serving-3


-1 pack which is normally around 250g of tempeh

-2 tbsp white miso paste

-2 tbsp hot water

-2 garlic cloves minced

-2 tsp ginger minced

-4 tsp toasted sesame oil

-4 tsp rice vinegar

-2 tbsp coconut aminos or tamari sauce


  1. Mix all the ingredients apart from the tempeh in a bowl

  2. Put half of the ingredients apart from the tempeh into a large baking dish and move around to combine

  3. Cube tempeh into small pieces and move around to cover in the marinade

  4. Allow to sit for about 30 minutes if possible and stir again

  5. Set oven to 190 c

  6. Place baking dish in oven and cook for 20 minutes

  7. Remove from oven and drizzle the rest of the marinade on top

  8. You can serve as you wish but I like to serve as part of a buddha bowl with some rice and veg

  9. Enjoy!
