Choc chip and peanut granola bars
Family friendly, quick, easy, nutritious, tried and tested.
Makes 8
-1 cup smooth peanut butter
-2/3 cup honey
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-1/2 tsp sea salt
-2 1/2 cups whole rolled oats
-1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
-3 tbsp crushed choice of nut/seeds
Line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper
In a large bowl stir together the peanut butter, honey, vanilla and salt
Add the oats, chocolate chips and crushed seeds/nuts
Stir to combine all the ingredients
Press the mixture firmly into the pan
Use a second piece of parchment paper to flatten the mixture
Chill for 1 hour at least and then slice into bars
Store in the fridge
