Chickpea pizza base

Family friendly, quick, easy, nutritious, tried and tested.

Makes 1 pizza base

-1 cup chickpea flour

-2/3 cup water

-1 1/2 teaspoon olive oil

-Pinch of salt

-Your choice of toppings

(It is really that simple!)

  1. Heat oven to 200 degrees celsius

  2. Heat frying pan and add some spray oil if possible. If not then make sure the oil has covered the whole pan surface

  3. Whisk the chickpea flour, water and salt together

  4. Pour the batter into the frying pan and spread evenly

  5. Cook for approximately 2 minutes and flip like a pancake to cook the other side

  6. Place onto a baking tray and add the desired toppings

  7. Place into the oven for about 10 minutes.

  8. Enjoy!
