What's in my Makeup Collection

Hi kids!

Today I thought I’d give you a sneaky peek into my makeup collection. Disclaimer* My makeup collection doesn’t compromise of the most high-end expensive bits, but it works for me, and if it gives you a little inspiration then we are winners all round!

So I'll dive right in!

I was kind of a latecomer to the whole 'making yourself beautiful' thing so over the past couple of years I've been building up my makeup stash. In terms of applying, I am definitely getting better with the help of vloggers such as Lily Melrose and Zoella - I'll be posting some looks that I love to wear in future posts, but lets start with the basics!

1) Maybelline New Baby Skin primer - Instant Pore Eraser

I have used a few primers now and this is definitely up there with the best in terms of quality and affordability. I did use Macs Prep and Prime for a while but I decided my less than desirable wage wouldn't stretch to paying £20 odd for a primer. To be honest, in comparison, this £7.99 baby works wonders and gives you a silky smooth complexion to start painting makeup onto.

2) Estee Lauder Double Wear All Day Glow BB Foundation

This is my go-to foundation for all occasions and weathers. It offers full coverage to cover up any unwanted blemishes - and as it is the BB version it is so much more moisturising and doesn't leave you with a cakey dry appearance when you get out of work ready for a well needed round of bevs. It is a little pricey at around £29 but it is SO worth it. Promise. It has an SPF of 30 in so you dont get burnt crust on those summer days too. I wear intensity 2.0.

3) Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer pot

This is a recent addition to my collection and again, I'm in love with it. It covers those nasty little blighters we call spots like a dream and stays on all day. Mine is in colour 2W light/medium (warm) if you have a similar skin complexion to me. Again this is a little pricey at £21.50 but it will last an absolute age!

4) MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Bronzer

I have used this for around a year now and it is definitely my favourite bronzer. It is great for contouring your face so you look like a 3D goddess. The colour I use is Medium Deep.

5) Collection Work the Colour Eyebrow Kit

I have been experimenting with my eyebrows guys. I will admit, before a few months ago I made a massive beauty booboo but not doing ANYTHING with my brows. Other than the odd pluck here and there obvs. But I have since invested in this little tool kit and my brows are looking better than ever! At only £3.99 its an absolute STEAL!

6) Collecion Fast Stroke Eyeliner

Another sexual purchase from Collection at another BARGAIN price of £2.99. This eyeliner is the best I have used by far, including more 'luxurious' ones from Models Own and Lancome. This beauty comes out jet black and stays on all day. It's a must have if you want to achieve that winged goddessey look.

7) Maxfactor Masterpiece Max Mascara

I have been using this for years now and it has never failed me. EVER. It is reliable and works well if you want to get everyday lashes or you can layer up for a more WOW LOOK AT ME kind of look.

8) Girl Meets Pearl by Benefit

This little tube of dewy pearly perfection creates a stunning glimmer on those cheekbones. I also apply this just below my eyebrows too for a highlighting effect. I am actually using a small tube that I got in a set but I will certainly be investing in a full size tube when this runs out. £24.50 for a 12ml tube - this will last for ages as you only use a tiny amount.

9) Collection Sheer Loose Powder

I actually researched for a sheer loose powder as I was unsure of which to buy and this one had really good reviews - and I can see why. It makes your makeup last for another few hours and stops any unwanted shinyness to your skin. No one wants to be looking at their reflection in your face! This little baby cost me £2.99 - it's a no-brainer!

Annnnd last but not least!

10) Kate Moss Rimmel Lipstick in Colour 107

I. LOVE. THIS. So many people ask me what lipstick I am wearing when I wear this - it has been recommended on lots of beauty blogs in the past and I am jumping on that raving bandwagon - it's flirty, fabulous and sexy and can transform a daytime face into a OMG I LOOK LIKE KATE MOSS face. Winning! This costs £5.49.

That's all for today folks, I hope you enjoyed!
